New Solar Prediction System Gives Time to Prepare for the 2012 Storms Ahead!

This is my thoughts about this. If someone is spending this kind of money they must take this “solar storm threat” really serious. A new method of predicting solar storms that could help to avoid widespread power and communications blackouts costing billions of pounds has been launched by researchers at the University of Bradford.

Solar storms involve the release of huge amounts of hot gas and magnetic forces from the surface of the sun into space at around a million miles an hour. The next major solar storms are expected in 2012-13 as part of the sun’s 11-year weather cycle. A 2008 US National Academy of Sciences report estimated that modern reliance on electronics and satellite communications means a major storm could cause twenty times more economic damage than Hurricane Katrina. Although major solar eruptions (coronal mass ejections) normally take several days to reach the Earth, the largest recorded in 1859 took just eighteen hours. Solar flares which can also cause significant disruption to communications systems take just a few minutes. So advance warning is of vital importance to enable steps to be taken to avoid the worst effects of solar activity. Up to now, solar weather prediction has been done manually, with experts looking at 2D satellite images of the sun and assessing the likelihood of future activity. But the team from the University of Bradford’s Center for Visual Computing have created the first online automated prediction system, using 3D images generated from the joint NASA/ESA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory satellite (SOHO). The system can be seen at work at http://spaceweather.inf.brad.ac.uk

New Visions of the Apocalypse

A recent surge in apocalyptic films indicates the mood of the zeitgeist. With 2012 fast approaching, our oceans at peril and the gloom of global warming, the average recession-hit consumer cannot see past their shrinking funds to worry about other mammals going extinct.

The hottest Pakistani summers on record followed by uncharacteristic floods seems to all underscore the creeping panic, while for those on the other side of the debate, the future’s so bright, they’re just happy to wear shades.

The New World Order – Random Thoughts

The New World Order is one of the most popular conspiracy theories in circulation and most individuals who study them believe in some variation of it. Basically, this is a theory that an elite group of powerful individuals is seeking to create an authoritarian world government which would do away with all sovereign nations, checks and balances, and individual liberties. It is seen has possessing the worst aspects of communism, fascism, and capitalism. Among Christians, the NWO is seen as being the one world government spoke of in the Bible’s Book of Revelation.

Within the last 100 years, a large number of statesmen from various countries have called for a New World Order, such as George H. W. Bush, Woodrow Wilson, Winston Churchill, and Gordon Brown. While some claim that they are talking about something else, such as a plan that will help other nations get along, there is a growing number of people who fear that what they are really calling for is a one world government. This global government will be a collectivist bearuocracy where a small group of elites will own all resources and means of production, and any surplus profits will be divided amongst them. Perhaps the most influential instance where the NWO has been announced was George H. W. Bush’s speech given on September 11th, 1990.

Different conspiracy theories concerning the New World Order are always being developed. They may be religious or secular in nature, liberal or conservative. They often involve shadowy secret societies such as the Freemasons, Illuminati, Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove, etc, which are at work behind the scenes, using world events to help them craft their plan. Recently, international think tanks such as the Bilderberg Group, Club of Rome, Trilateral Commission, and CFR have entered the picture and provide a clearer picture of the true faces of those at work.

The phrase on the reverse side of the dollar bill, Novus Ordo Seclorum, is of particular importanctance to conspiracy theorists as it translated literally into he phrase, “New Order of the Ages,” or New World Order. There are many who believe that high ranking Freemasons are near the top of the Illuminati pyramid and have the goal of bringing the entire world into their occult practices. They believed that the founding of the U.S. itself is filled with Occult, Masonic symbolism including the Great Seal of the United States, the layout of Washington, D.C., and the architecture of National Mall landmarks.

These different theories and claims play a large part in the study of Bible prophecy as many Christians believe that we are currently living in the end of days described in the Bible. The antichrist is a figure of particular importance as he is seen as the lone dictator who will rule the one world government when it is finally realized.

Severe Solar Storms In 2012?

The National Academy of Science is reporting the possibility of massive solar storms occurring in 2012.

The worst case scenario in the publication indicates that power grids and communications could be knocked completely offline in some areas.

The prediction relies upon a previous solar storm in 1859 of such magnitude that it ignited telegraph wires.

The storm led to fires breaking out near telegraph lines.

NASA believes that such a solar storm could lead to months of difficulties for the United States.

The difficulty of solar storms is their prolonged duration. A storm may take several months to dissipate completely.

Should we be worried about solar storms? Do you think it’s a sign that the wold is indeed going to end in 2012?

2012 Comet

Our 2012 prediction is based on a comet or possibly a group of comets hitting earth. This prediction was pulled directly from the Bible Codes.

We believe that a lot of the 2012 predictions were created to discredit revelations in the Bible. Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible (also known as the Torah). These five books are believed to contain secret codes put there by God himself. The odds are 10 million to 1 that theBible Codes do not actually exist.

We also feel Wormwood (as referred to in the Bible) is the comet.

Two statements were found in the Bible Codes:

1. Comet 5772 (2012) Earth Annihilated
2. Comet It will be Crumbled I will Tear to pieces 2012

One suggests that a comet will hit earth in 2012 and the alternative suggests that the comet will be destroyed! (lets hope so anyway).

We hope that the second statement could mean that the comet is destroyed. However; there is a real fear that the second statement could mean the comet breaks up into multiple pieces before hitting the earth.

In order to believe that a 2012 comet is possible, you first have to believe that the Bible Codes (and the Bible for that matter) are in fact true/exist.

We think you might be pretty shocked at the credibility of the people who feel the Bible Codes are in fact true.

However; we also feel that they were placed in there to help and not hurt anyone. This could mean that if NASA (or any other space agency) believes that they are in fact true, then there is a possibility that the future could be altered.

World not ending in 2012, says Guru

A famous guru from India who is in Malaysia for a series of motivation and right livelihood programmes has found himself beset with questions from Malaysians about 2012.

It’s not over in 2012… Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (right) with
Lim before his talk at the Penang International Sports
Arena recently
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a proponent of the “Art of Living” philosophy, said he had received numerous queries since landing here about whether the world was going to come to an end in the next two years.

“No, no… It’s only in the movies that it (the world) ends,” he told an 8,000-odd crowd that had gathered at the Penang International Sports Arena over the weekend.

“In 2012, the world is not going to end. In fact, it will be more spiritual… There will be more love,” said the guru, who arrived here on Saturday.

His Art of Living Foundation, which works consultatively with the UN, has undertaken trauma relief at war-torn areas like Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, and is also providing rehabilitation and counselling programmes at prisons and refugee camps.

In his talk, the 54-year old emphasised the need for calmness and harmony in society and within individuals.

“We should never be prejudiced about race, religion, education status and social status of a person,” he said, stressing that religious people should pray not just for their own kind but all of humanity.

Also present was Chief Minister Lm Guan Eng who appeared pensive and philosophical during his open dialogue with the guru.

“There is a lot of hurt in this world,” Lim said. “If we sustain a physical injury, it would heal after some time. But sometimes the injury inside us cannot be healed so fast.”

“We need to heal the soul, give meaning to the soul, so that we can rise above and serve others.”

He also stressed that society should not just look into poverty of hunger, but also “poverty of spirit”.

Here comes the sun storm

NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory snapped this X-ray photo of the sun early Sunday. The dark arc near the top right edge of the image is a filament of plasma blasting off the surface — part of the coronal mass ejection. The bright region is a solar flare. Watch a video explaining the filament and the flare.

Alan Boyle writes: NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory has captured what appears to be a disturbance in the force – on the sun. Astronomers say Sunday morning’s eruption sent out a blast of electrically charged particles that should create brilliant auroral displays on Tuesday night.

“This eruption is directed right at us, and is expected to get here early in the day on August 4th,” astronomer Leon Golub said in a statement from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. “It’s the first major Earth-directed eruption in quite some time.”

Fortunately, it’s not all that big of an eruption: The X-ray blast rated a C3 on the Space Weather Prediction Center’s scale, which suggests there’ll be no disruption for power grids, satellites, astronauts on the International Space Station or navigation services on airplanes. Stronger space storms can have more serious impacts. In 1989, for example, a huge solar outburst sparked a nine-hour electrical blackout in Quebec – and a more moderate blast that occurred in April apparently turned a telecom satellite into a zombie.

Tips On 2012 Survival During Armageddon

Your 2012 survival will always rely on how ready people are regarding the disasters foretold to occur come 2012. This prophecy has been told over and over for the so many generations throughout history.

The Bible calls this occurrence as the Apocalypse, although no specific dates are mentioned; but then, there are other very old works pertaining to the same happening such as the Chinese I-ching, the Hindus, the Druids and the Mayas whose calendar ends in December 21, 2012 and this includes other civilizations that sprang from this culture such as the Aztecs.

Furthermore, there are so many cosmic events that are predicted to ensue come 2012 resulting in landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions from known and hidden volcanoes all over the world. The aforementioned events are said to be set off by polar reversals, planetary positioning, solar radiation, and large meteor showers that will eventually crash on our planet and you can just imagine the impact that will make and to give you an idea, you can watch doomsday movies.

Nostradamus is another of the so many well-known fortunetellers previously considered a heretic and a bogus during his time\, but then , is now one of the most accurate prophets based on his predictions of the cold war, the world wars and the Sept 11 tragedy. In fact, one of his books unearthed at the National Library tells about the coming end of the world stating the date December 21, 2012.

And also because of the so many projections and calculations, it is natural that a lot of people are alarmed and, with only two more years to go, people are starting to make preparations for this dreaded event. Many are forming survival groups and constructing shelters high up in the mountains, away from nuclear power plants. Others are digging, making their shelter underground and stocking up food and other necessities like tools and medical supplies.

It is actually amusing how survival guides for 2012 have dramatically increased sales due to people’s desire to be ready for the for doomsday. So if you need a doomsday guide, how would you go about selecting one that is reliable?

Check who the author is; is he really proficient with the right credentials for writing a doomsday book? Why did he write the book and how was he able to get his references and information that only he knows; how long did it take him to write this book from its conceptualization to its publishing?

Read reviews on the book so you will have an idea what those who read it thinks about it; mostly the readers are also truth seekers and believe in 2012. The most reliable review you can have is that of a friend or family member since you probably trust this person the most. If the book is a new release and there are no feedback yet, check the reviews from the previous books of this author; if the previous book got good reviews, then it is probable that the new one also will.

If you accept the doomsday prophecy as true, then it should be time for you to make the necessary gearing up to be ready anytime. After all, 2012 survival is not of the fittest but of the people who are most prepared.

Apocalypse Soonish

As the time drew near, survivors were faced with painful decisions. How should they deal with the coming difficulties? Many asked if there were steps they could take to weather the impending disaster. Some wondered if it wasn’t best to simply avoid the agonies ahead by committing suicide. More than one suggested that they owed it to their children to kill them quickly, mercifully, to save them from having to endure through such horrendous times.

The people facing these unthinkable choices were not behind the walls at Masada or cowering under the ash clouds of Vesuvius. They were Americans who phoned NASA in just the last few months, terrified by the approach of doomsday on December 21, 2012. Even two years in advance of the date, both teenagers and adults called to talk to researchers and astronomers, looking for information on what they might expect as the planets assembled in an unprecedented cosmic alignment, as predicted by the ancient Mayans, and the world drew to an end.

The idea of someone proclaiming the approaching end of the world is so common that it’s become a long standing joke — the shaggy, ill-kept madman with his rope-belted robe and sign announcing “The End Is Nigh.” But even as we make fun of such characters there are dozens of apocalyptic threads running through the public discourse at any moment. There are strategic visionaries who foretell approaching war; scientists who worry over resource shortages, population growth, and climate change; self-proclaimed mystics who declare their exclusive knowledge of devastation to be brought on by everything from impending earthquakes to alien invasion, and always there are preachers and religious “experts” who warn that the Day of Judgment is fast approaching.

Most of the time these fears remain in the background of our conversation, staying little more than the subject of chain emails or late night filler on cable stations. But with some regularity these predictions of doom bubble up and become prominent in public thought. It happened in 2000 as fears of the “Y2K” bug brought on forecasts of money disappearing from banks and airliners plunging from the sky. It happened in the 1950s as fear of nuclear annihilation drove the construction of basement fallout shelters and taught a generation to “duck and cover.” It happened in 1844, when tens of thousands of Americans stood on hillsides and rooftops, certain that the Great Day of the Lord was at hand.

The “Ancient Mayan Prediction” of the world’s end in 2012 seems typical of a threat that captures the public attention. It comes complete with a star-studded theatrical film and a spate of TV specials. Not only has NASA received sobbing phone calls, but the modern markers of a disaster prediction — hysterical emails and garish web sites — are present in abundance. If any of these have reached your screen you may be a bit comforted by this…
